These words were spoken by one of the greatest inventors in history. It was true in the 1700s and it is true today. Persistence and determination, the true spirit of entrepreneurialism is the key to selling invention ideas in today’s rough and tumble market.
You, as the inventor will encounter countless naysayers who tell you that you’re crazy or you’re wasting your time. If you haven’t encountered them then you either have kept your new invention a secret or you have not tried to develop it and bring it to market.
I want to be your sledgehammer, Why don’t you call my name
Oh let me be your sledgehammer, This will be my testimony
Show me round your fruit cage, cos I will be your honey bee
Open up your fruit cage, Where the fruit is as sweet as can be
“Sledgehammer,” Peter Gabriel

This video demonstrates an interactive method for exploring human touch. Human touch is richly variable in electrical resistance making it quite suitable for real-time sonification. Experiments have verified that electronic voltage controlled oscillators produce interesting output when tracking resistive flesh. Resulting devices have an aural similarity to the Theremin, yet, in terms of operating principles, are almost the exact opposite: one touches nothing to play the Theremin; whereas, to coax music from resistive flesh, the first thing required is touch.
Think of sustainability as an old fashioned antennae-driven TV network with many different channels and shows. "Green TV" interconnects and educates us on the Triple Bottom Line - we need to account for the environmental and social impacts of a service or product in addition to its financial performance.
Sometimes, I can't help but feeling that I'm
Living a life of illusion
And oh, why can't we let it be
And see through the hole in this wall of confusion
I just can't help but feeling I'm living a life of illusion
Pow, right between the eyes
Oh how nature loves her little surprises
Wow, it all seems so logical now
It's just one of her better disguises
And it comes with no warning, nature loves her little surprises
Hey, don't you know it's a waste of your day
Caught up in endless solutions
That have no meaning
